Trail Rides

Deluxe Camps, Progressive Pack Trips, and High Lakes Fishing Trips: Your pack team will cook, clean, setup and take down camp for you. Just bring your personal gear and sit back and enjoy your camping trip. Trips can be customized to suit your needs. They're normally 3-5 days, but longer trips can be arranged.

Ride-In Drop CampsTake the work out of your next wilderness trek. Wallowa Mountain Outfitters will drop off and pick up your gear wherever you'd like to stay. This is a convenient way to spend the weekend or the whole week exploring the wilderness.

Hike-In Drop Camps: Hike without the weight! Drop off your gear, and start walking from the trailhead. Wallowa Mountain Outfitters will load up your gear and meet you at your preferred location, either for a spot drop or at a campsite. They'll even help you find the perfect campsite or hiking route.

Packing School and Clinics: Learn how to pack horses and mules through mountain terrain with professionals. The Packing school is a 20 day all-inclusive, high-intensity learning experience. The clinics are 3-6 days and offer an overview for anyone interested in going on personal pack trips.

Guides

Steve Morris is the owner as well as the lead packer and guide. He's been packing mules since 1985. Wallowa Mountain Outfitters operates under a special use permit through the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest. Licensed and bonded.

Horses

Wallowa Mountain Outfitters has 30 of the finest mountain horses and mules. Most of them were broke in the mountains. You can also bring your own horses, but make sure they can cross bridges, maneuver granite slickrock, drink from running steams, and stand on a high-line.

Additional Activities

Many people come to the Eagle Cap Wilderness to hike, fish, climb, and explore the area. Wallowa Mountain Outfitters is happy to guide, pack, or offer advice to any outdoorsman interested in exploring the area.

Accommodations

The Deluxe Camp Trips are all inclusive; everything other than your personal gear will be provided for you. All trips leave from wilderness trailheads where parking is provided. Don't forget to purchase your parking pass before you arrive.
