IN • Harden's Camp Tennessee Indiana

Harden's Camp is a new campground in the Hoosier National Forest (May 2015). The owners also run Harden's Gaited Stables where they've been breeding and training Gaited Horses since 1990. You'll feel right at home in this wholesome family-friendly campground. With 15 sites, it's a perfect venue for riding clubs and large groups to host private event weekends (group discounts available).

Location

The campground is located on the southern side of the Hoosier National Forest, just outside of Norman, IN on Hickory Grove Road.

Trail Rides

Harden's Camp Tennessee INDIANA is at Hickory Ridge Trail 2 and immediate access to trails 1 & 6 leading to hundred miles of horse trails, all trails are well marked and maintained. You'll get to ride through dense woods, creeks, and historic sites during your stay.

Additional Activities

In addition to trail riding, you can also explore the Hoosier National Forest by foot; there are plenty of hiking trails to choose from. Lake Monroe is also nearby, which offers fishing, canoeing, and plenty of other water activities. 

Accommodations

The campground is for trailers and RVs. It has 15 rock pad parking sites that you can easily pull through (no need to back in or out). Each site has electric and water hookups as well as a fire ring. Until the new bath house is built, porta-potties are available. You can tie your horses to the high line or rent a panel stall during your stay.
