Mission

We believe trail riding is the ultimate way to explore the outdoors. With a little nudge, it could go mainstream. We hope it also becomes a movement for good.

So, we’re spreading the word about trail riding and building a community of advocates for equestrian causes. Whether you're a first-time or seasoned rider, our community will support you on your ride.

Together, we can make trail riding the next big thing and do a lot of good for people, horses, and parks.

What we do

We bring people together around trail riding. When you see someone with the "We are Trail Riders" mark, you know they care about creating incredible trail riding experiences. Ask them about their last ride or the best trails in the area; the community will support you on any adventure. We focus on the important things:

SHARE ADVENTURES.
Celebrate, inspire, and share tips about exploring the outdoors by horseback.

CONNECT PEOPLE.
Make trails, horses, and guides more accessible for awesome trail riding experiences.

DESIGN RESPONSIBLY.
Create comfortable, durable, and user-friendly gear that is sustainably made in the USA.

DO GOOD.
Volunteer and give to equine therapy, horse rescue, and park preservation organizations.

Why Trail Riding?

GOOD FOR PEOPLE.
Sometimes the best medicine is getting outside and riding a horse. Out here, it's easy to live in the present and unwind from a stressful week. Don't get us wrong, it can be a good workout. But you'll be laughing and bonding with your friends while you do it.

GOOD FOR HORSES.
This country was built on the backs of horses, yet they've been marginalized in recent decades. More people trail riding means more "jobs" for horses. Plus, trail riding helps horses become more confident and agile—signs of a healthy horse.

GOOD FOR PARKS.
This land was made for you and me. Trail riding enables more people to explore public lands responsibly. Once you're in it, it's hard not to appreciate and do your part to protect it. The more popular trail riding becomes, the easier it will be to find horse-friendly amenities at destinations you love.
